
20 June, Panthar : The shooting of Jaarī 2, the third feature film directed by poet and filmmaker Upendra Subba, has officially concluded. The entire production was carried out in Panthar, with filming wrapped up on the 36th shooting day.
According to the production house, Bansuri Films, the movie is slated for release during the upcoming Dashain festival in October. While the festival timeframe has been announced, the exact release date is yet to be confirmed.
To mark the end of the shoot, the team has also revealed the first look of the lead characters, portrayed by Dayahang Rai and Miruna Magar. The released stills feature Miruna in traditional Yakthung Limbu attire, while Dayahang is seen playing the Chyabrung, a traditional drum, reflecting the film’s cultural setting.
